Assistant Site Manager – Building Refurbishment

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE + £3,000 Car Allowance & Benefits

We are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a building refurbishment project in Warrington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Site Management. Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will gain hands-on experience across site coordination, subcontractor management and the day-to-day running of a refurbishment project.
The Role
You will support the Site Manager with the daily management of the project, taking responsibility for allocated areas of work and ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
The position will involve coordinating subcontractors and temporary works, monitoring site safety and productivity, assisting with labour and material planning, maintaining site records and communicating any potential delays, risks or issues to the wider management team. You will also liaise with client representatives where required and help maintain a positive and well-organised site environment.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and keen to progress within construction management.
- A valid CSCS Card is required
- SMSTS and First Aid qualifications would be advantageous
- Previous experience within building refurbishment or site management would be beneficial
You should have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to health & safety and delivering quality work.
Salary & Benefits
The role offers a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, plus a £3,000 annual car allowance.
