Assistant Site Manager - Oxfordshire
I'm currently working with a well-established housebuilder who is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a new residential development in Oxfordshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has already worked at Assistant Site Manager level and is confident supporting a Site Manager on a busy new-build residential scheme.
The Site Manager will be joining the project in October, with the Assistant Site Manager required around 8 weeks later. However, the business would be happy to accommodate an earlier start for the right person and provide exposure across other sites in the meantime.
The role will involve:

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to programme
• Monitoring quality and assisting with snagging and handovers
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
• Coordinating trades, deliveries and site activity
• Helping to ensure the development is delivered efficiently and to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager
• Experience within new-build residential construction
• A strong understanding of site processes, quality and health & safety
• The confidence to work closely with and support an experienced Site Manager
• Good communication and organisational skills
