Assistant Site Manager – Residential Housebuilding

The Company
Our client is a well-established premium housebuilder with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of new build housing developments.
The Role
Working alongside the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring homes are built safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a respected housebuilder.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality, productivity and programme targets are achieved.

Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure all homes meet company standards.

Help coordinate labour, materials and deliveries to maintain build programmes.

Support the completion of plots through to legal completion and customer handover.

Assist with NHBC inspections and ensure compliance with Building Regulations.

Maintain accurate site records, inspections and reporting.

Work closely with the Customer Care team to minimise defects and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Promote a positive, professional culture across site.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.

Strong understanding of the housebuilding process from groundwork through to completion.

Good knowledge of current health and safety legislation.

Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain build quality.
-
Passion for delivering high-quality homes and excellent customer service.
Essential Qualifications

SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS preferred)

CSCS Card
-
First Aid at Work
-
Full UK Driving Licence
