Hourly Rate: £15.72 per hour
Working Pattern: Full Time 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm)

About the Role:
As an Assistant Supplies Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Supplies Manager. Your responsibilities will include receiving, checking, and recording goods, as well as issuing items as requested. This position also involves manual handling, so a good level of fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer the Stores IT systems.
- Assist the Supplies Manager with clerical duties, including raising purchase orders and resolving inquiries.
- Perform stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
- Supply and fit uniforms for all staff.
- Liaise with the Shared Service Centre Manager on order and invoice matters.
- Progress and chase purchase orders, ensuring timely processing.
- Check invoices against orders and process payments.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints and advising on goods and services.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange for disposal of returned items as necessary.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area while supporting a good housekeeping policy.
- Assist in training new staff on the computer systems.
Who We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Purchasing or a related subject (working towards CIPS foundation stage is a plus).
- A minimum of GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in a stores/supplies environment.
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with processing orders and invoices.
- The physical capability to handle and lift heavy items.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
