Our privately owned and fast growing client in Surrey are seeking an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join an experienced Technical department in delivering multiple residential private and partnership projects from planning through to final handover, throughout the South East.
Role Purpose
As an Assistant Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting a team of experienced managers in the delivery of multiple residential housing projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless coordination of technical aspects, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. Positioned at the heart of the organisation, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the quality and efficiency of housing developments, enhancing the living standards of communities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the coordination of technical aspects for residential housing projects.
• Support Technical Managers in planning and executing project timelines.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any technical issues.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the design team to review and approve technical drawings.
• Provide administrative support to the technical team as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements
• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within the residential housing sector.
• Strong understanding of technical coordination and project management principles.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
