The Opportunity
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you'll provide leadership across multiple Data Centre projects while helping shape the future direction of the mechanical engineering team.
You'll work closely with Directors and senior stakeholders, balancing technical oversight with client management, business development and team growth.
This is an opportunity to move beyond project delivery and become a trusted adviser to clients while helping develop both people and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple Data Centre projects.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Support business development, bids and fee proposals.
- Oversee project performance, programme and profitability.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor and develop Senior, Principal and Graduate Engineers.
- Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
- Support recruitment, resource planning and succession planning.
- Promote innovation, quality and best practice throughout the business.
- Represent the consultancy at client meetings, industry events and technical presentations.
You'll have a proven background within a Building Services Design Consultancy and extensive experience delivering Data Centre or Mission Critical projects.
You'll be recognised for your ability to lead teams, develop trusted client relationships and consistently deliver technically outstanding engineering solutions.
