Commercial Associate / Senior Associate (3-7 PQE)

National (Outside London) | Hybrid Working | Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognised Commercial team, advising major UK and international organisations on high-value commercial contracts, technology projects and strategic business initiatives. Working alongside experienced Partners and Legal Directors, you'll gain exposure to complex, cutting-edge work while enjoying genuine responsibility, direct client contact and clear opportunities for progression.

What you will be doing in this role

You'll advise a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from household names and FTSE-listed companies to fast-growing technology businesses across a variety of sectors.

Your work will include:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Advising on technology contracts, digital transformation projects and outsourcing arrangements.
• Supporting clients on strategic commercial initiatives and complex business-critical projects.
• Working on commercial aspects of large-scale procurement and supply chain arrangements.
• Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming an extension of their in-house legal teams.
• Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas on cross-disciplinary matters.
• Contributing to business development and helping strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Opportunity to undertake client secondments and gain valuable in-house experience.

The experience you will have

We're looking for a Commercial Solicitor with:

• 3-7 years' PQE in Commercial and/or Technology law.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent technical ability coupled with a pragmatic, commercial approach.
• Confidence managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a national team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine interest in innovation, technology and helping clients achieve their commercial objectives.
