ATEX Inspector

We’re looking for a skilled ATEX Inspector to join our team on-site at a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in North Ayrshire.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining site safety and reliability by carrying out detailed ATEX inspections across a wide range of electrical and instrumentation assets.
- Perform close and detailed inspections on a large number of electrical and instrumented items across the site.
- Identify and carry out remedial work on damaged or non-compliant equipment, and replace components where necessary.
- Support shutdown preparation activities — including line walks, gathering technical drawings, and planning inspection scopes.
- Help to implement and maintain effective working practices and systems to continually improve service delivery.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Work flexibly to meet business needs, sometimes taking on additional responsibilities or extended hours.
- Manage a high workload efficiently and independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation inspection, ideally within ATEX environments.
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards within industrial or pharmaceutical settings.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
