Senior Project Manager (Audio Visual Systems Integration)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, including 1-hour lunch)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading systems integration environment within the audio visual sector. This role is responsible for managing client projects across systems-based vertical markets, ensuring delivery from contract stage through to design, commissioning, and final handover.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and to the highest customer satisfaction standards.
This is a key senior position offering the opportunity to influence project delivery excellence and contribute to ongoing service development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed budget and client expectations.
Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external contractors.
Ensure Health & Safety documentation and safe systems of work are in place for all projects.
Contribute to system design across electronics, mechanical, and optical elements, using proven and innovative solutions.
Interpret and manage contractual requirements across assigned projects.
Ensure accurate technical and drawing information is available for project delivery teams.
Support proof-of-concept system setups and testing.
Oversee financial management of projects, including invoicing, variations, and cost control.
Manage supplier relationships and procurement of components, ensuring value for money.
Oversee integration of AV systems into client environments, including hardware and software interfaces.
Conduct on-site commissioning, configuration, and system programming.
Represent the organisation professionally at a senior level in client and stakeholder engagements.
Develop specialist expertise in key technical or delivery areas to support wider organisational capability.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Strong technical understanding of electronics and AV systems integration
Experience managing complex technical projects in a client-facing environment
Understanding of commercial and contractual project frameworks
Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational abilities
Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure
High level of IT literacy
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to develop innovative technical solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior stakeholder engagement
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery
Professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach
