Audio Visual Warehouse Technician

Prospero Integrated

You'll work across both live event production and dry hire, preparing equipment for a wide variety of events and clients. We need someone technically minded, organised and confident enough to speak up when something doesn't look right.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and checking AV equipment for event productions and dry hires.
  • Picking and prepping orders accurately and efficiently ahead of deadlines.
  • Checking equipment, accessories, cables, cases and loose items are present, clean, functional and correctly packed.
  • Using your AV knowledge to identify compatibility issues and ensure equipment is suitable for the job.
  • Reviewing prep lists and confidently challenging inaccuracies, omissions or potential issues.
  • Flagging workload, stock and timing concerns to the Warehouse Manager before they become problems.
  • Testing, maintaining and replenishing site kits, tools and consumables.
  • Loading and unloading equipment safely, including manual handling of cases and production equipment.
  • Driving a company van when required.
  • Keeping the warehouse organised, clean and production-ready.

What we're looking for

You'll have previous experience working in an AV warehouse, event production or equipment hire environment, with a practical understanding of professional AV equipment.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in both production and dry-hire environments.
  • Has a solid working knowledge of AV equipment and common kit combinations.
  • Is comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Can spot when a prep list doesn't make sense - and isn't afraid to challenge it.
  • Takes pride in sending out equipment that is complete, tested and professionally presented.
  • Is physically capable of manual handling and loading/unloading equipment.
  • Is reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in.
  • Can work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Holds a valid driving licence and is comfortable driving a company van when required.

Why join us?

This isn't just about moving boxes around a warehouse. Your preparation directly affects what happens on site.

The equipment you prep could be heading to a corporate conference, awards ceremony, festival, live show or major production - and your attention to detail helps ensure the crew on site have exactly what they need to deliver it.

If you're an AV technician who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, keeping things organised and being part of a fast-moving events environment, we'd like to hear from you.
