Audit & Compliance Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audit & Compliance Officer to support the organisation’s quality, environmental, information security and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, maintaining audit schedules and reporting findings.

• Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 compliance and certification activities.

• Manage and maintain risk registers, risk assessments and PESTLE analysis.

• Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.

• Monitor and maintain GDPR/data protection compliance, including audits and security incident investigations.

• Support environmental compliance, waste management and regulatory reporting.

• Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.

• Coordinate compliance training and support supplier due diligence and compliance reviews.

• Prepare compliance reports and support management and external audit activities.

• Contribute to the development and review of quality, environmental, information security and compliance policies.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, compliance, quality or a related role.

• ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification/experience.

• Good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.

• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and statutory requirements.

• ISO 27001 Internal Auditor certification is desirable.

• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.

• High attention to detail, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively across different teams.
