Reed Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing site who recruiting for an experienced Automation Engineer to support and develop PLC, robotics, vision, and control systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll drive automation improvements, support capital projects, reduce downtime, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Key Skills & Experience
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix & CompactLogix PLCs
- Siemens, Omron & Mitsubishi PLCs
- ABB, Fanuc & Mitsubishi robotics
- Keyence vision and automated inspection systems
- SCADA/MES integration and manufacturing data systems
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and optimisation
- Root cause analysis and fault finding in automated environments
- PLC, HMI and robot backup/version control management
- Automation upgrades, commissioning and capital projects
- OEE improvement and downtime reduction initiatives
