Minimum Qualifications

A relevant professional qualification in one of the following areas is preferred, although not mandatory:

• Robotics;
• Automation;
• Mechatronics;
• Electronics;
• Mechanical Engineering;
• Industrial Maintenance.

Required Professional Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience;
• Preferably Experience working with automated systems, preferably Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs);
• Good knowledge of electromechanical equipment and industrial automation systems;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook;
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation;
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
• Availability to work on-site in Dagenham, London.

Main Responsibilities

• Carrying out the electromechanical assembly, installation, testing and troubleshooting of AGVs and associated automation equipment;
• Performing technical tests based on the available instructions and documentation;
• Identifying, analysing and reporting technical, performance and quality issues;
• Supporting the diagnosis and resolution of faults affecting AGVs and related systems;
• Reporting technical issues and cooperating with team leaders, clients, contractors and other stakeholders;
• Determining the resources, tools and materials required to resolve technical issues;
• Tracking, handling and correctly storing materials, tools and equipment intended for installation;
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area;
• Providing technical guidance and coordinating the activities of less experienced team members, when required;
• Complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures for the client and the main contractor;
• Contributing to the safety of all team members, contractors and site visitors.
