Automotive Talent Partners are recruiting for a motivated, experienced and hands-on Transaction Manager, Showroom Manager or Sales Controller to join a successful, well-established main dealership.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the sales process, supporting the team, converting opportunities and ensuring the showroom operates efficiently.

This opportunity would suit individuals with hands-on sales management experience who are confident managing customer enquiries, supporting negotiations and driving sales performance.

We welcome applications from experienced Transaction Manager | Showroom Manager | Sales Controller | Used Car Manager candidates, as well as Sales Managers and New Car Managers seeking a fresh opportunity.

We would also consider a Senior Sales Executive ready to step up into their first management position, providing they demonstrate the right attitude, commercial understanding and ambition to progress.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on position where you will work closely with the Sales Executives and senior management team to maximise opportunities, improve conversion and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving enquiry conversion and lead management across new and used vehicle sales.

• Managing sales diaries, appointments and follow-up to ensure every opportunity is maximised.

• Providing effective second face and closing support when required.

• Actively coaching and supporting the sales team to improve performance.

• Monitoring showroom activity, customer enquiries, appointments and sales conversion.

• Supporting customer negotiations and maximising vehicle profitability, finance penetration and additional product sales.

• Setting a positive example through professionalism, customer service and a proactive approach.

• Working closely with senior management to achieve dealership targets and improve overall sales performance.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in automotive sales or showroom management within a main dealership.

• Understands the importance of enquiry management, diary control and customer conversion.

• Is confident supporting Sales Executives, negotiating deals and second-facing customers.

• Takes a proactive, hands-on approach to the day-to-day sales operation.

• Is approachable, motivated and comfortable supporting and developing others.

• Has strong commercial awareness and a genuine desire to achieve results.

• Is ambitious and keen to progress into more senior management positions in the future.

• Holds a full UK driving licence.
