We are looking for a professional, caring and experienced Ayurvedic Therapist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Ayurveda and delivering high-quality, personalised treatments in a calm and welcoming clinical environment.
The Role
As an Ayurvedic Therapist, you will provide a range of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and therapies while ensuring each client receives a professional, safe and personalised experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Ayurvedic treatments and therapies in accordance with the clinic's standards and treatment protocols.
- Providing therapies such as Abhyanga massage, Shirodhara, Kizhi/Potli therapies, Udvartana, head massage and other Ayurvedic treatments, depending on your training and experience.
- Preparing treatment rooms, oils, herbs and equipment before appointments.
- Discussing treatment requirements with clients and supporting individual treatment plans.
- Working alongside Ayurvedic practitioners and other members of the clinic team.
- Maintaining accurate client and treatment records.
- Ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are kept clean, hygienic and well organised.
- Following infection control, health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
- Providing excellent customer service and helping clients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic when required.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional and genuinely passionate about Ayurvedic therapy.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised qualification in Ayurvedic Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage or a related discipline.
- Practical experience delivering Ayurvedic treatments.
- Good knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, oils and treatment techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, caring and client-focused approach.
- Excellent standards of hygiene and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
