The Role: Azure Infra Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Storage Services.
• Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC, MFA).
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM Templates, Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Perform cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams for cloud operations.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS/PaaS).
• Hands-on experience with Azure VM, VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, Azure Storage, and Azure Backup.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Identity Management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Security Groups.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
