B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic B1.2 licensed engineer to join our team. In this role you will ensure airworthiness and service standards of aircraft by performing, supervising, and certifying maintenance, repairs, and inspections in line with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. As a Licensed Engineer you will diagnose faults, troubleshoot complex systems and issue certificates of release to service. 

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime. Competitive salary DOE.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable aviation regulations (FAA/EASA/CAA as applicable).
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance whilst always prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and certify work packs, logbooks, and technical records.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and hours spent on each aircraft.
  • Perform inspections of facility, tooling, equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Provide mentoring to junior colleagues.

Requirements/ Qualification: 

  • UK CAA Part-66 B1.2 license (or very close to completion)
  • 3–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or hangar operations
  • Strong knowledge of piston-engine aircraft (e.g., Piper, Cessna, Robin, Slingsby). Previous experience working on Diamond aircraft (DA40/ DA42) desirable.
  • You must be an excellent team player and communicator.
  • You must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Valid UK/EU driving license.
