Arden White Aviation & Aerospace Recruitment is working with a leading business jet organisation in Farnborough to recruit B2 Licensed Avionics Inspectors to join their established aircraft maintenance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2 Licensed Engineer or Avionics Inspector looking to take the next step in their career within business aviation.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a highly professional aircraft maintenance environment, supporting both line and base maintenance on high-value business jets.

Day and night shift opportunities are available, with an enhanced shift allowance for night shifts.

The Role As a B2 Licensed Avionics Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring aircraft maintenance activities meet the required UK CAA, Part-145 and company standards.

You will inspect and certify maintenance work within your authorisations, support maintenance teams and ensure aircraft are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an Avionics Inspector supporting aircraft line and base maintenance activities.
  • Inspect and certify maintenance tasks within your training, licence and company authorisations.
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with UK CAA Part-145 requirements and approved maintenance data.
  • Carry out avionics maintenance and certification activities as required.
  • Support Maintenance Team Leaders and Service Team Managers with day-to-day maintenance activities.
  • Assist with the management and coordination of licensed engineers, inspectors and fitters where required.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Ensure all task stages and certification requirements are correctly completed before the end of each shift.
  • Monitor maintenance progress and highlight any potential delays or issues to the appropriate management team.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, cleanliness and quality.
  • Ensure aircraft and work areas are maintained to the required professional standards.
  • Conduct effective shift handovers to maintain continuity and workflow.
  • Support performance, quality and departmental meetings when required.
  • Provide technical input and highlight any difficulties or shortcomings encountered during maintenance activities.
  • Carry out additional maintenance and inspection duties as required.
About You We're looking for experienced aviation professionals with:

  • A current UK CAA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence or relevant UK CAA aircraft maintenance licence.
  • Relevant aircraft type ratings.
  • Proven aircraft inspection and certification experience.
  • Extensive line and base maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience working within a Part-145 organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK CAA aviation legislation and maintenance requirements.
  • Good avionics and aircraft systems knowledge.
  • Experience within business aviation/corporate aviation would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy and the ability to accurately complete maintenance documentation.
  • A well-organised and proactive approach to daily maintenance activities.
  • The flexibility to work different shift patterns where required.

Shift Pattern Day Shift 4 days on / 4 days off
07:00 – 19:00

Night Shift 4 days on / 4 days off
19:00 – 07:00
