Baker in Copthorne, West Sussex

We are looking for team members for our brand new village bakery. This is an exciting opportunity for a competent baker, who is looking for a new challenge.

General Duties:

• Preparing and delivering many bakery products, ready for sale. Helping prepare essential recipes, popular bakes and everyday items.
• Competent in your own baking, bringing your own recipes, ideas and experience. We are happy for you to try new recipes of your own that the village will love.
• Assisting in the daily production to keep up with the shop demand.
• Keeping kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
• Follow all food hygiene procedures.
• Working alongside other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the shop.
• Supporting the front of house staff, during busier periods if needed.

Desired skills (not essential):

• Minimum of level 2 food hygiene

Salary is experience dependent. Interview and bakery goods tasting will be essential after CV's have been received and reviewed.
