Band 5 Occupational Therapist

We are currently recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Level 2 inpatient rehabilitation service supporting adult males detained under the Mental Health Act at a private hospital in Salford, M6.

This is a Band 5 equivalent position for 15 hours per week. The hours can be split across several days, including weekends; however, a minimum of 5 weekday hours is required to allow for clinical supervision. Client may consider Band 6 applicants also.

The pay rate is up to £30.00 per hour depending on experience, with payment available via PAYE, Umbrella, or Limited Company.

To be considered, you will need previous Band 5 equivalent Occupational Therapy experience, experience working within an inpatient mental health setting, the ability to work autonomously, and experience using MOHO (Model of Human Occupation) assessments.

Experience working with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance misuse), personality disorders, autism/ASD, and general adult mental health would be highly desirable.
