Band 6 Social Worker – Adult Social Care | Bedford | 3-Month Contract

Blissful Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Adult Social Worker for an exciting opportunity with an NHS Trust based in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.

• Assess adults with complex health and social care needs.

• Develop and review care and support plans.

• Arrange and commission appropriate health and social care services.

• Complete safeguarding and risk assessments to ensure service users remain safe.

• Maintain accurate electronic patient records.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and local authority colleagues.

• Participate in supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.

• Current registration with Social Work England.

• Experience within Adult Social Care.

• Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding legislation.

• Excellent assessment, communication and case management skills.

Desirable

• Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training.

• Previous NHS or Local Authority experience.
