Band 6 Training Specialist at NHS Professionals, Canterbury, Kent

We are looking for an experienced training professional with previous experience in Mental Health and /or Learning Disability services to support across Maidstone and Dartford. 

Key responsibilities 

• Deliver violence reduction, de escaltion & restriction practice training. 
• Clinical risk & Social Care Certificate training 
• Plan and facilitate engaging training sessions, both in a group setting and 1-1. 
• Mentor junior trainers and promote best practice 
• Maintain training records and national standards 
• Work with stakeholders to identify addtional areas of development 

Essential Criteria 

• Health & Social Care Qualification 
• Staff training and development experience 
• Strong communication skills
• Thorough knowlege of restrictive practice legislation
