My client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Bandsaw Operative to join their manufacturing team in Wiveliscombe. This is a great opportunity for anyone with experience in metal cutting or engineering, or for motivated individuals wanting to learn and grow in a precision engineering business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials accurately 
• Read and interpret job sheets and cutting lists 
• Measure and check materials to ensure quality 
• Load, unload and handle metal stock safely 
• Maintain a clean and organised work area 
• Follow all health and safety procedures 

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating bandsaws or in an engineering/manufacturing environment is a plus 
• Good attention to detail and accuracy 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
• Driver essential due to client location
