Barista in Basildon, Essex

Berry Recruitment are looking for an experienced Barista to support a busy hospitality site in Basildon, working Monday-Friday with additional ad‑hoc cover when required. Food Hygiene Level 2 is essential, and we'll help you complete it free of charge.

• Pay: £13.45 per hour

• Contract: Temporary

• Location: Basildon

• Experience: Previous barista experience required

• Certification: Food Hygiene Level 2

Ad Hoc shifts are available with the following hours, this job is covering holiday or sickness:

• Monday-Thursday: 07:30-15:00

  • 7 paid hours (30‑minute unpaid break)

• Friday: 07:30-13:30

  • 5.5 paid hours (30‑minute unpaid break)

• Preparing hot and cold beverages to a consistent, high standard

• Delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment

• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation

• Supporting general food service duties

• Following all food safety and hygiene procedures

• Proven barista experience

• Strong customer‑service skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Willing to complete Food Hygiene Level 2 (free with Berry Recruitment)

• Weekly pay

• Free Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
