Barista/Front of House at Vault and Vine ponteland, Ponteland

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Barista / Front of House Team Member to join our team!

We’re passionate about serving great coffee, delicious food and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every customer who walks through our doors. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a positive, hardworking team.

Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, teas and other beverages.
• Providing friendly, welcoming and attentive customer service.
• Taking customer orders and processing payments accurately.
• Serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised front-of-house area.
• Clearing tables and keeping the café presentable throughout the day.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Restocking fridges, displays and service areas as required.
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods to ensure smooth day-to-day service.
• Creating a positive experience that encourages customers to return.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to work well under pressure in a busy café environment.
• Passionate about good coffee, great service and hospitality.
• Happy to take initiative and help wherever needed.
• Keen to learn, develop new skills and contribute to the team.

** Must be able to work weekdays and at least 1 weekend day 

Previous experience in a café, coffee shop or hospitality setting is an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
