With over 25 years of experience, we consistently set the bar for guest experiences through innovation, creativity and unforgettable entertainment.

The role

As a bartender, you're the engine of the bar. You'll craft cocktails to spec, pour with precision and pace, and run your station cleanly through the busiest services. You'll build rapport with guests across the bar, work in lockstep with servers and barbacks, and keep drinks moving without ever dropping quality or hospitality. This is a high-volume, high-energy environment where consistency, speed and a genuine sense of showmanship all matter.

What you'll do
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks to Tao Group specifications

  • Maintain speed and accuracy at the well during peak volume without sacrificing presentation

  • Build and maintain rapport with guests, taking orders and making recommendations across the full drinks menu

  • Develop expert knowledge of all cocktail builds, spirit brands, wine lists and seasonal specials

  • Serve all alcohol in line with state regulations and responsible-service standards, requesting ID where legal age or card payment requires it

  • Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and follow correct cash and card procedures

  • Manage your float and complete all end-of-shift cash-out and financial procedures accurately

  • Set up and break down the bar, stock wells and back-bar, cut garnishes and complete opening and closing side-work

  • Keep the bar top, wells, glassware, ice and surrounding areas clean and orderly throughout service

  • Work closely with barbacks to stay stocked on spirits, mixers, garnishes and glassware

  • Report breakages, equipment faults, irregularities, incidents or guest complaints to management

  • Attend daily pre-service meetings, training sessions and departmental meetings

  • Take part in marketing activity, including social media and venue photography

  • Support fellow team members, share knowledge and lead by example

  • Comply with Department of Health standards, all company safety codes, and appearance and uniform guidelines

What you'll bring
  • Proven bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, dayclub or lounge

  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits and wine

  • Completion of Tao Group Hospitality in-venue bartender training

  • 21+ years of age (nightlife and daylife requirement)

  • Clear written and verbal communication, and legible handwriting

  • Consistent positive energy and the ability to stay composed under pressure

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

The environment

This is a physically active role. You'll need to bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, move quickly, and push, pull, carry or lift up to 50 lbs. You'll work indoors and outdoors across bar, nightclub, dayclub, lounge and restaurant settings, with exposure to varying noise, crowds, temperatures, lighting and air quality, as well as hot surfaces, steam and wet floors. Extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

A neat, well-groomed appearance in line with company standards is expected at all times.
