Location: Milton Keynes 

Overview 

ITS Property Maintenance are working with a reputable and growing contractor delivering high-quality planned bathroom replacement programmes within the social housing sector. 

Due to continued contract growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join the team, delivering planned bathroom installations across occupied and void properties throughout Milton Keynes. 

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established planned maintenance contract with a consistent pipeline of projects through to March 2027. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Carrying out full bathroom rip-outs and installations within occupied and void social housing properties.  

• Installing baths, shower trays, shower enclosures, WCs, basins, vanity units and associated sanitary ware.  

• Completing first and second fix plumbing associated with bathroom installations.  

• Undertaking wall and floor tiling, silicone finishing and making good following installation works.  

• Completing associated multi-trade works including basic carpentry, patch plastering and decorating where required.  

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer service within residents' homes.  

• Recording completed works, labour and materials using PDA or electronic job management systems.  

• Working safely and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and client quality standards. 

What We're Looking For 

• Proven experience fitting bathrooms within domestic or social housing environments.  

• Strong plumbing and bathroom installation skills.  

• Ability to carry out associated multi-trade works including tiling, basic carpentry, patch plastering and decorating.  

• Previous experience working on planned maintenance or refurbishment contracts within the social housing sector.  

• Full UK Driving Licence and own van.  

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (or relevant time-served experience).  

• Competent using PDA systems to receive and complete work instructions.  

• Excellent customer service skills with experience working in occupied properties.  

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.  

• Knowledge of planned maintenance contracts and SOR codes would be advantageous.
