- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am – 4:20pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
- Approx. 35+ hours per week
Raise Education & Wellbeing School are seeking a resilient, compassionate and proactive Behaviour Intervention Support Assistant to join their trauma-informed team across their Bolton sites on a temp to perm basis.
You will support pupils aged 11–19 with SEMH, ASC and complex behavioural and emotional needs, helping them to regulate emotions, re-engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour intervention support
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and EHCP targets
- Use de-escalation and co-regulation approaches during challenging situations
- Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils to improve engagement and attendance
- Support transitions between lessons, break times and learning environments
- Assist teaching staff with tailored learning activities
- Record observations and contribute to progress and behaviour tracking systems
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, ASC or behavioural needs
- Calm, patient and emotionally resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in education, youth work, care or similar settings (desirable)
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
- Ability to travel between both Bolton school sites as required
- Mileage paid for travel between school sites

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
