Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant - SEMH School (Bristol)

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Long-Term Role
£92–£105 per day | Immediate / September Starts

We are working with specialist SEMH schools across Bristol seeking Behaviour & Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.

This role involves supporting pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in education. You will play a key role in helping young people develop positive routines, build confidence and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Support pupils with SEMH needs and associated behaviours
• Help pupils engage with learning and daily routines
• Build positive, professional relationships with young people
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
• Work closely with teachers, behaviour leads and pastoral teams
• Promote a consistent and structured learning environment

This is a hands-on role where your ability to remain calm, resilient and consistent will have a direct impact on pupils' progress and engagement.

We are particularly interested in individuals who:

• Have experience working with young people, behaviour or additional needs
• Are confident, resilient and able to work proactively
• Can build trust and rapport with pupils
• Understand the importance of boundaries, routines and consistency
• Have an interest in behaviour, mental health or education
