We are seeking confident and compassionate Behaviour Mentors to join a supportive Secondary SEMH school. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs through mentoring, behaviour support, and trauma-informed practice.
You will be:

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Using restorative and trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate challenging behaviour

Delivering mentoring sessions focused on emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour

Supporting students during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and transitions

Assisting with student reintegration following exclusions or periods of dysregulation

Working closely with teaching, pastoral, and safeguarding teams to support student progress
We are looking for someone with experience supporting young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional needs within a school, alternative provision, youth work, or care setting.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm), offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, with the potential to secure a long-term or permanent position.
