The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner to join an established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Dunstable.

The company specialises in high-quality traditional and bespoke joinery, producing a range of products for residential, commercial and heritage projects.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in traditional joinery, particularly the manufacture of timber windows, doors, frames and staircases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke timber windows, doors, frames and staircases.

• Produce traditional joinery products to a high standard of craftsmanship.

• Work from technical drawings and specifications.

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Carry out cutting, machining, assembly and finishing of timber components.

• Ensure all work meets the required quality standards and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment.

• Strong traditional joinery experience is essential, particularly windows, doors and staircases.

• Confident using woodworking machinery and traditional hand tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
