BENCH JOINER

Bodhi Bespoke is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our new bespoke joinery workshop in Monton, Greater Manchester. You will manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery for commercial interiors, retail, pharmacy and shopfitting projects.

The successful candidate will:

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinets, counters, reception desks and furniture.

• Work from technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.

• Work with MDF, MFC, laminates, plywood, veneers and solid timber.

• Fit ironmongery, including hinges, drawer runners, locks and handles.

• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.

• Work closely with the Workshop Manager and machining team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven bench joinery or furniture manufacturing experience.

• Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to dimensions.

• Experience with cabinetry, assembly and furniture finishing.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Good understanding of workshop health and safety.

Experience in commercial joinery, retail furniture or shopfitting would be advantageous. A recognised joinery qualification would also be beneficial.
