Bench Joiner

Job Description:

Know How Resourcing are proud to represent our manufacturing client based in Leeds. They are currently recruiting for a Bench Joiner to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the accurate manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery items, working from technical drawings and specifications. The role involves the use of a range of hand tools and woodworking machinery to produce high-quality components, ensuring precision and consistency throughout.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work from CAD Drawings to manufacture high quality bespoke items.
• Compile accurate cutting lists.
• Set up and operate machinery
• Work out the most appropriate joining methods for the application.
• Assemble display items as per drawing / job sheet.
• Use both hand and power tools.
• Fill, sand and finish wooden products.
• Liaise with Team leaders and Production Manager.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules
• Any other tasks as deemed necessary by the business.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
