Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Bench Joiner
• Strong practical joinery skills
• Ability to work accurately and to a high standard
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carrying out bench joinery work to a high standard
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials
• Using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timescales
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Checking completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company

As a Bench Joiner, you will be expected to:

• Have excellent attention to detail
• Take pride in the quality of your work
• Have good timekeeping and reliability
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Follow instructions and specifications accurately
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
