Role Overview:
As part of our expanding Production Team, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to contribute to the creation and restoration of exceptional timber products. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision craftsmanship and enjoys working with high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke timber windows for heritage and period properties from technical drawings and specifications.
- Produce replacement windows that accurately replicate original designs while meeting modern performance standards where required.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, preferably with sash and casement window projects.
- Experience working on heritage, listed, or conservation projects is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in using classical woodworking machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into finished products.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to traditional craftsmanship and high-quality workmanship.
- Strong practical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
