Bench Saw Operative
£29,640 Salary / £15.00 per hour | 38 Hours Per Week
We are looking for a Bench Saw Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. Previous experience is preferred but are willing to consider candidates with transferable skills and a positive attitude.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Early finish every Friday!
The Role:
- Operating bench saw machinery
- Cutting materials to specific sizes and dimensions
- Reading basic drawings and specifications
- Using basic computer systems
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
What We're Looking For:
- Aged 18+ (due to Power Saw Regulations)
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
- Ability to read basic drawings
- Basic computer skills
- Bench saw/manufacturing experience preferred
- FLT Counterbalance Licence desirable but not essential
