The company specialises in the delivery of industrial, commercial and leisure projects, working with well-known clients across the sector on projects ranging in value up to £50m. Their portfolio includes commercial leisure facilities for major operators such as David Lloyd Clubs, alongside large-scale industrial developments.

The Role

Working closely with the Preconstruction and Estimating teams, you will provide essential administrative support throughout the tender and bid process, helping to ensure submissions are well organised, accurate and delivered on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing diaries, meetings, tender reviews and key submission deadlines
  • Receiving, organising and maintaining tender documentation
  • Managing document control and version control through SharePoint
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding tender information and key dates
  • Logging and managing subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Supporting the preparation of tender submissions, presentations, questionnaires and project information
  • Uploading and downloading information via client and tender portals
  • Assisting with pre-qualification and bid documentation
  • Maintaining accurate project records and construction photography
  • Providing general administrative support to the Preconstruction and Estimating teams

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using SharePoint would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within construction, engineering or a professional services environment would be beneficial
  • Experience with document control or tender processes would be advantageous
  • A proactive, positive and can-do attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
  • A full UK driving licence
