Bid Coordinator

A leading, multidisciplinary built environment consultancy are seeking a bid coordinator to be their newest addition to their bid team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established work-winning function, supporting bids and tenders across a range of projects within the property, construction and built environment sectors.

Bid Coordinator | The Role

Working as part of a wider regional and national bidding team, you will coordinate pursuit and submission activity, keep bid programmes on track and ensure submissions are well organised, compliant and professionally presented.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring bid inboxes, procurement portals and internal trackers to identify and distribute new opportunities
  • Setting up and managing collaborative working environments for bids, including Microsoft Teams
  • Coordinating bid programmes and ensuring deadlines, governance and compliance requirements are met
  • Scheduling and supporting kick-off meetings, workshops, progress meetings, reviews and approvals
  • Researching previous submissions and best-practice responses to support new bids
  • Gathering information from multiple stakeholders and coordinating contributions
  • Taking ownership of standard responses and commonly requested bid information
  • Supporting the development of CVs, project case studies and capability statements
  • Proofreading and editing bid content to ensure submissions are clear, accurate and compliant
  • Coordinating master submission documents and managing version control
  • Using InDesign, Word and PowerPoint to produce professional bid documents and presentations
  • Maintaining and improving central bid libraries and reusable content
  • Working collaboratively with bid, marketing and technical teams to continuously improve submission quality

Bid Coordinator | Skills and Experience

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in bid coordination, bid administration or a similar role
  • Experience within professional services, consultancy, construction or the wider built environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign
  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

A degree in a relevant subject such as Marketing, English or Communications would be advantageous but is not essential.

  • Salary of £35,000 - £38,000
