Bid Manager in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire

Our client, a leading independent Security Systems Integrator, is looking for a Bid Manager to join their team in Chilwell, Nottingham on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established security technology business, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant and commercially compelling bids across high-security, public space, transport and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities of the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through to submission and contract handover.
• Produce high-quality, compliant and persuasive bid and proposal content.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.
• Manage bid plans, timelines, compliance requirements and governance processes across multiple opportunities.
• Support commercial strategy, pricing activities and continuous improvement of bid processes and content.

Experience required for the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:

• Strong and proven Bid Management experience
• Experience managing the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission.
• Strong proposal writing and content development skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and bid management tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent bids and work effectively to deadlines.

Desirable experience for the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:

• Knowledge of the electronic security, physical security or security systems integration sector.
• Sales and/or commercial training or experience.
• APMP accreditation or similar professional membership.
• Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
