🚨 Bid Manager – Derby TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading transportation client in Derby.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Bid Manager to take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification and solution design through to submission, contract award and mobilisation.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Managing multiple bids and tenders simultaneously.
  • Developing compelling, high-quality bid responses and proposals.
  • Working closely with Operations, Finance, Legal and HR teams.
  • Developing costed and commercially viable solutions.
  • Managing tender portals, deadlines and submission processes.
  • Supporting client meetings, presentations and tender clarification.
  • Leading the handover of successful bids into mobilisation.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager across the full bid lifecycle.
  • Strong bid writing and commercial skills.
  • Experience in transport, rail, logistics, managed services, FM or a similar sector.
  • Strong understanding of ITT, RFP and RFI processes.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Rail, transport or infrastructure experience would be highly desirable.
