A leading Facilities Management (FM) provider are looking to recruit an established BIM Lead to join our flagship Government contract.

This is a national Maintenance contract where the employer maintains M&E plus Building Fabric across the client's large Estate.

The BIM Lead here will take the Building Asset information provided by the Surveyors and look to mature this into a fully realised BIM. We are early in this journey and so this role will be a key driver forward where you will need to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

They are looking to achieve the ISO 19650.

While this is currently an FTC we are hopeful we can extend this, or turn the role into a perm position.

Actions will include:

  • Lead the delivery of Asset Intelligence, Asset Information and Information Management activities across the Client contract.
  • Implement and maintain Asset Information Requirements (AIRs), Asset Information Models (AIMs) and associated information management processes.
  • Lead asset verification, validation and asset data improvement initiatives across the contract portfolio.
  • Ensure asset information remains accurate, complete, structured and fit for operational use.
  • Develop and maintain asset information standards, taxonomies, data structures and information requirements.
  • Support the implementation of ISO 19650 aligned Information Management frameworks, standards and procedures.
  • Produce asset intelligence outputs, reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Work collaboratively with Information Governance, IMS/CDE, Workflow & Automation and Technical Drawing functions.
  • Engage with client stakeholders, operational teams and supply chain partners to understand and deliver information requirements.

We need from you:

  • Significant experience in Asset Intelligence, Information Management, BIM or Digital Delivery
  • within construction, engineering, infrastructure, government or FM environments.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing ISO 19650 and associated Information Management
  • frameworks.
  • Experience developing and implementing OIRs, AIRs, EIRs and AIMs.
  • Experience working within operational estates, Asset Management, Facilities Management or
  • NEC4 contract environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem
  • solving skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership, professionalism and the ability to influence and drive change.
