A "Good" secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join its team ASAP. What you'll be doing- Deliver engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience welcomed).
- Bring biological concepts to life through practical investigations, experiments, fieldwork, and real-world applications.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum and wider Science department initiatives.
- Support extracurricular opportunities such as STEM activities, ecology clubs, science fairs, and educational trips.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Biology in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the biological sciences.
- The ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students of varying abilities.
