BMS Commissioning Engineer - Siemens
Crucial People Ltd
Contract
£350–£450 per day
If your strength is Siemens BMS commissioning and you want to work on a substantial Central London project involving both Siemens ABT and Schneider EcoStruxure, this is a strong opportunity to put that experience to use.
My client is a specialist BMS contractor delivering the building management system on a large project in Central London. They are looking for an experienced Siemens BMS Engineer to join the project team, primarily supporting the commissioning and integration of the site's FCU controls.
The project incorporates a Siemens BMS using ABT, integrated with a Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) headend, so you will be working as part of a wider controls team to ensure the systems are commissioned correctly and the required data is brought together successfully.
What you'll be doing
- Commissioning FCU controls across the project
- Working with Siemens ABT
- Testing and proving operation of FCUs and associated controls
- Identifying and resolving commissioning issues
- Supporting the process of bringing commissioned FCUs together within the Siemens system
- Working alongside Siemens and Schneider BMS engineers
- Assisting with the transfer and integration of relevant data into the Schneider EBO headend
- Recording progress and ensuring completed areas are ready for handover
- Working as part of the wider BMS commissioning team to keep delivery moving
Experience with Siemens ABT is important, alongside the ability to work confidently through FCU commissioning and fault-finding.
Experience of Schneider EcoStruxure / EBO, system integration or projects involving multiple BMS platforms would be particularly useful, although the core requirement is strong Siemens capability.
You should be comfortable working independently, communicating with other engineers and taking responsibility for getting your allocated systems commissioned properly.
The opportunity This is an opportunity to work on a large Central London BMS project where the controls architecture goes beyond straightforward standalone commissioning.
You'll be working with Siemens ABT alongside Schneider EcoStruxure, giving you exposure to the integration between two major BMS platforms while delivering a significant volume of FCU commissioning.
Day rate: £350–£450, depending on experience and capability.
