We're recruiting for an experienced BMS Commissioning Lead to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Copenhagen, Denmark.
 

This is a senior leadership opportunity where you'll take full responsibility for managing all Building Management System (BMS) commissioning activities across the project. You'll lead the BMS vendor, coordinate with multidisciplinary commissioning teams, and ensure the successful integration of all BMS interfaces through to final handover.
 

This role would suit someone with extensive experience in BMS, Controls or Building Automation, ideally gained on large-scale Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical or Industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the BMS commissioning strategy across the project.
• Manage all BMS vendors and specialist commissioning teams.
• Coordinate commissioning with Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning Managers.
• Oversee Integrated Systems Testing and client demonstrations.
• Review commissioning documentation, procedures and technical submissions.
• Monitor commissioning progress against programme milestones.
• Resolve technical interface issues across multiple building systems.
• Lead client meetings and provide commissioning updates.
• Ensure quality, safety and commissioning standards are achieved.
• Support project handover and final completion documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong commissioning leadership experience on Data Centre or Mission Critical projects.
• Excellent understanding of integrated building systems, controls and automation.
• Previous experience managing BMS vendors and multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Mechanical or Electrical background is advantageous.
