BMS Commissioning Lead – Hyperscale Data Centre (Contract)

€550 - €600 per day + Accommodation + Benefits

We're recruiting for an experienced BMS Commissioning Lead to join one of Europe's leading mission-critical contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Copenhagen, Denmark.
 

This is an excellent opportunity to lead all Building Management System (BMS) commissioning activities, taking ownership of the BMS vendor while coordinating with multidisciplinary commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration across all building systems.
 

We're looking for someone with a strong background in BMS, Controls, EMS or Building Automation, ideally with previous experience delivering data centre or other mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all BMS commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to handover.
• Manage and coordinate the BMS vendor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage the BMS commissioning programme and key milestones.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning teams to ensure successful system integration.
• Review commissioning documentation, test scripts and technical submittals.
• Attend FATs, SATs and Integrated Systems Testing where required.
• Identify and resolve technical commissioning issues.
• Report commissioning progress, risks and programme updates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements.
• Support final commissioning, client demonstrations and project handover.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Previous commissioning experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical or Industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Experience managing BMS vendors and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of Controls, EMS, SCADA and integrated building systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead commissioning activities on large-scale projects.
