Trainee BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer Up to £40,000 depending on experience  

You will have already built a solid technical foundation in electrical engineering, HVAC, facilities management, maintenance or building services. Now you may be looking for a role that offers more specialist skills, better long-term career prospects and genuine professional development.

You don't need previous BMS experience. Instead, you'll receive structured training, industry-recognised qualifications and ongoing support from experienced engineers while developing skills in one of the fastest-growing areas of building technology. As a Trainee BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer, you'll learn how modern buildings are controlled, monitored and optimised. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in fault-finding, commissioning, planned maintenance, HVAC controls, surveys, reporting, and system optimisation.  

Along the way, you'll receive BCIA-accredited training and manufacturer-led development on leading BMS platforms including Trend, Tridium, Siemens and Schneider. What you'll gain

What you'll need
  • Background in electrical engineering, HVAC, FM, maintenance, controls or building services
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding principles
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence
