Vantage is recruiting for a BMS Engineer on behalf of a growing automation and controls specialist supporting one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a technically advanced, highly regulated facility where you'll play a key role in managing critical Building Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review BMS project documentation, including functional and design specifications.
- Support software and hardware development for Building Management Systems.
- Produce and execute test specifications, validation documentation and change controls.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Work closely with Automation, IT, Quality Assurance and external vendors to deliver projects.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of BMS infrastructure.
- Contribute to project planning, schedules and documentation tracking.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with pharmaceutical quality and compliance standards.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of three years' experience in a BMS or automation engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens Desigo CC, Xworks and PX Controllers.
- Experience with utility systems such as chilled water, hot water or steam generation would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of controls systems, PLCs, networking, field wiring and control panels.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with experience working within regulated environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
