Vantage is recruiting for a BMS Engineer on behalf of a growing automation and controls specialist supporting one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a technically advanced, highly regulated facility where you'll play a key role in managing critical Building Management Systems.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review BMS project documentation, including functional and design specifications.
  • Support software and hardware development for Building Management Systems.
  • Produce and execute test specifications, validation documentation and change controls.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Work closely with Automation, IT, Quality Assurance and external vendors to deliver projects.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of BMS infrastructure.
  • Contribute to project planning, schedules and documentation tracking.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with pharmaceutical quality and compliance standards.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a BMS or automation engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens Desigo CC, Xworks and PX Controllers.
  • Experience with utility systems such as chilled water, hot water or steam generation would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of controls systems, PLCs, networking, field wiring and control panels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience working within regulated environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
