BMS Service Engineer

I am recruiting for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join a well-established building controls business supporting a wide range of commercial properties across the North East.
The role offers a mix of planned maintenance, reactive support, system optimisation and small project work, providing plenty of variety while working with a broad customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find on Building Management Systems across multiple sites.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
- Carry out software modifications, controller changes and graphics updates where required.
- Complete site surveys and provide recommendations for upgrades and remedial works.
- Support the delivery of small installation and commissioning projects.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota and provide technical support when required.
- Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
About You
You'll ideally have experience with one or more of the following BMS platforms:
- Trend Controls
- Tridium Niagara
You'll also have:
- Previous experience maintaining and supporting commercial BMS installations.
- A good understanding of HVAC plant and building services.
- Experience with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus or M-Bus.
- Confidence using BMS software for fault diagnosis and system modifications.
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing.
- A full UK driving licence.
Package
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
- Overtime available at enhanced weekday and weekend rates.
- Call-out rota of approximately one week in six with standby allowance.
