About the Role

Sytner BMW & MINI Tamworth has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our highly successful Vehicle Preparation Team as a Vehicle Preparation, Logistics and Photography Assistant.

Working across our three Tamworth sites and reporting to our Preparation Manager, you will play an important part in ensuring that our new and used BMW and MINI vehicles are prepared, photographed and ready for sale as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You'll be joining a friendly, hardworking and successful team where everyone plays their part in maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle Photography: Taking ownership of new and used MINI vehicle photography, ensuring our cars are presented to an exceptional standard for our online advertising.
  • Photography Logistics: Coordinating the daily movement and availability of BMW and MINI vehicles, ensuring they are in the right place at the right time for photography.
  • Stock Photography Reporting: Monitoring and reporting daily photography completion rates to our leadership team, helping us ensure our vehicles are advertised online without unnecessary delay.
  • Vehicle Movements and Logistics: Driving and moving vehicles between our three Tamworth sites, assisting with vehicle transporter arrivals and collections, and supporting the efficient flow of stock through our preparation process.
  • Trade Vehicle Auctions: Providing holiday cover and support for our Sytner Electronic Auction operation.
  • Team Support: Working closely with colleagues across the preparation operation, lending a hand wherever needed to ensure vehicles progress smoothly through preparation and are ready for sale.

This is very much a hands-on position, combining driving, photography, organisation and teamwork. You'll spend much of your working day out and about, moving between locations and helping to keep our busy operation running smoothly.

It's an enjoyable and rewarding opportunity for someone who likes variety, takes pride in doing a job well and wants to be part of a team that makes a real difference to the success of our business.

About You

We're looking for someone with a positive, enthusiastic attitude, plenty of energy and a genuine willingness to get involved.

You'll be naturally organised, reliable and comfortable managing several different priorities throughout the day. You'll enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the initiative and confidence to take ownership of your own responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Pride in maintaining high standards of vehicle presentation.
  • Confidence using basic IT systems and an interest in photography.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • A willingness to undertake a physically active role, including regular driving and vehicle movements.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Previous experience in the motor industry or vehicle photography would be an advantage, but isn't essential. For us, the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
