BOAS Engineer – Manufacturing
Leeds | £35,000 - £45,000 | Days only (Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm)
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain the site's industrial steam boilers and equipment
- Carry out routine boiler checks, inspections and preventative maintenance
- Monitor boiler performance and identify and resolve faults
- Support reactive and planned maintenance across the boiler and wider plant
- Carry out basic boiler water testing and maintain relevant records
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently
- Support production operators with day-to-day operational issues and equipment problems on the shop floor
- Assist operators with fault finding and minor maintenance issues where required
- Work alongside operators on the production line
- Help minimise downtime by responding quickly to plant and production issues
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- BOAS Qualification – essential
- Proven hands-on experience working with industrial steam boilers
- Experience operating and maintaining a boiler within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Previous production and operator experience
